On September 24 & 25, in Philadelphia, there will be a one of a kind presentation of the heart and soul of Irish traditional music. Michael Tubridy, Father Charlie Coen, Paddy O'Neil Lesl Harker, with myself and Michael Copeland showing our various instruments too! 
 
In addition, Irish Gaelic scholar, Tommy Cahill will give a presentation on the connection of sean nos singing to playing the tunes that came from the songs.
 
This will not be a workshop in the usual sense, the idea is not to learn tunes or techniques. Instead the presenters will be playing and talking about tunes, and people they've known, regional styles, stories, or whatever comes to them. Rather than a classroom or a stage, we are hoping to just have "music in the kitchen".
