Skips Blog Chapter 5

Submitted by Skip on Sat, 02/07/2009 - 10:14am.

Hi Everybody!

Well, here I am once again sitting at the ol' Acer laptop blogging Chapter 5 which means that I've managed to stave off Chapter 11, at least for the moment...

Thanks to all of you who if not having ordered a new fifeafluteapicc are at least sending in e mails asking about ordering your dream instrument. I have recieved a lot of e mails asking about flutes after my big price redutions which is much appreciated and also some orders which are VERY MUCH appreciated. I've also had a lot of calls from New Delhi about credit card payments that are not so appreciated. Geez, at least hire some Americans to hassle me so SOMEBODY is working! But I digress...

HA!!!!!!!!!!   Just as I wrote that my cell phone rang and guess who it was. No joke!!! Can't make this stuff up.

Ah yes, back to the subject. Honest, there is one.  My web master of the Universe Obi Wan Gamache had me install all these cool little gizmos on the site (like the Blog and Newsletter) and also counters so I can track how many hits and unique users (aren't we ALL unique?) etc are stopping by SH.com to check out the site. The idea being to improve the site and lure in more unsuspecting folks ( i.e. YOU!) surfing through the "innerweb" (remember him?) there by providing a few light moments, some information and perhaps a sale or two. So far so good, it's actually fun for me to do it and you guys keep reading the stuff so I guess/hope it's fun for you too.

What concerns me is that noone is sending-posting any comments about the newsletters or blogs. See, the thing is the "innerweb" (love that!) is only "inneractive" when you write something and send it in! Lordy knows it's easy for me to sit here and bloviate on things that pop into my mind but I don't know if it's the  kind of stuff you folks want to read about. There have been several thousand combined hits and reads and such jargon but just a couple comments back. Is it the registering thing that you don't like? All you have to do is enter a username and your own password. I don't ask for (or honestly want) any other info, it's not getting sold to any other sources or other devious practices. After all, big brother already can see into our homes by reverse engineering our tv sets...  I really would like to hear from you about topics or suggestions because if not I'll just keep writing stuff like this! So fire up your personal computing devices and let a few words fly my way. They are not automaticlly posted, I control the content (feel my power!) so if you want your comments to remain private, it will stay our little secret.

So there ya go!  Until next time, remember as always,

BUY MORE STUFF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All the best,

Skip
