So I don't know about you guys but this economy is kicking the crap out of me. I am really hoping that Pres. elect Obama is going to do whatever he can to help out but it's really up to us to do something ourselves too. So, my contribution is this, I have really scaled things back around the ol' HFco. That's right, NO LOCRIAN MINOR AUGMENTED 4th SCALES FOR ME THIS YEAR! Huh? If you can understand that, you have wayyyyy too much formal musical education for trad Irish music!  But I digress.

So here we go. I am lowering the prices of my flutes to try to do my part to stimulate the economy. Ok, MY economy but we are all in this together, right? Here is a quick run down of the prices but you can go to the Instrument page on my site as well.

2 piece flutes in D formally $1,000.00    NOW   $575.00   (plus shipping)

3 piece flutes in D formally $1,250.00    NOW   $775.00   (plus shipping)

3 piece 6 keyed flutes in D  formally $3500.00   NOW $2,750.00 (plus shipping)

No tricks or use of cheaper woods. The same quality that has been the hallmark of the HFco, just at hopefully more affordable prices. Things are tough for everybody these days, I hope this helps a bit...

On another topic, the past couple of months have been pretty miserable for me health wise due to an ill-advised trip to a local Chiropractor who did far more harm than good but thanks to the work of my regular chiro (Dr. Fred Adkins of Orlando Fl.  one of the most gifted Doctors I have ever met) I am once again able to walk upright and pain free. This has been the main reason for the silence on the site but starting in the new year there will be all kinds of cool new content in various forms. A newly formatted Skips Tips, more podcasts and regular blogs and rants to the delight of all. Well, hopefully some anyway!
