Hi Everybody!

Sorry I've been gone for a bit but its been a hectic summer and early Fall for yours truly. I have just done some of the coolest gigs I have ever been fortunate enough to play in and will be writing about them over the next couple of weeks. They were the INAFA Festival in Eau Clare WI, the Queen Maeve School of trad Irish music and dance in Sligo Ireland, my debut in Carnegie Hall N.Y.C. and my 7th Annual Wind on the Bay Flute bash weekend in Rhode Island. 

In the middle of all that coolness there was also some pretty low class treachery done to your favorite flute maker that was intentionally timed to screw it all up. However, the slug who tried to mess with me only fired me up so I gave it my best John Cena-Cooleo shoulder dust-off and showed how we roll Healy Flute style. Those who can DO while those who can't take their pathetic shots that ALWAYS fall short of the mark...

I am going to be on the road tomorrow but will be typing away soon so do come back again and check out all the stories.
